Conditions of Sale

Please read the following carefully. If you do not agree with our terms and conditions, please do not order from us.

Standard Conditions of Sale

Definitions

  1. MINIMUM ORDER there is no minimum order value however any order under £20 will incur a £5.00 delivery and handling charge.
  2. LAST ORDERS for general items must be placed by 4pm for next day delivery and by 4pm on Friday for Monday deliveries. last orders for Today's Special's will taken up to 10 am for delivery by 1 pm the same day.
  3. SANDWICH PLATTERS must be ordered by 10am the previous working day. After this time availability may be limited and Cherwell Catering reserves the right to implement the substitution policy.
  4. SUBSTITUTIONS: Cherwell Catering reserves the right to substitute products without prior notice for any reason.
  5. ORDER CONFIRMATION: Your order will be confirmed by e-mail or fax, so please ensure you check receipt of your Order Confirmation. If your order confirmation is incorrect or you have not received it by 4pm the day before delivery, please call us on 01869 369 722 immediately as errors cannot be rectified later. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.00pm for queries and advice.
  6. ORDER CANCELLATIONS: Should you need to cancel your order, please contact us on 01869 369722, cancellations will also need to be confirmed by e-mail before 4pm on the day before delivery. If cancelled after 4pm, the order will be charged in full. If you do not receive an e-mail/fax confirming receipt of your cancellation it will be deemed as not transmitted by you, and unfortunately we can not take responsibility for failure to cancel your order.
  7. DELIVERIES: All orders will be delivered to the main reception area within your company and a signature will be required for proof of delivery. Deliveries can be made Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). Please specify your preferred delivery time i.e. pre midday, 12pm - 1pm, 1 - 2pm, after 2pm.
  8. PAYMENT METHODS: Payment can be made by account (by prior arrangement), and also be made by cash/cheque on delivery.
  9. PRICES: Cherwell Catering reserves the right to revise its prices at any time prior to delivery.
  10. CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS: Complaints must be logged with us on 01869 369 722 within 24 hours of receipt or collection of delivery, and where a signature acknowledging delivery or collection has been given.
  11. REJECTED ORDERS: Orders may be rejected if the official order form is not used or if the information supplied is insufficient or incorrect.
  12. ALLERGIES: Recipes may change from time to time and therefore we strongly advise you check the ingredients list on the product at time of purchase. We have indicated where a product contains nuts as an ingredient, but please be aware that we cannot guarantee that any of our products are completely nut-free.
